Can you remember?
Can you remember your last great night’s sleep? One where you woke up feeling rested and rejuvenated. The answer to that question for many people is no. Many people wake up sore, achy and anything but well rested. And while there are many factors that can play into proper sleep, one of the easiest and quickest fixes is to look at what you are sleeping on. You may not remember your last great night’s sleep, but maybe you just need a pillow with a good memory!
How can a pillow have a memory?
Okay, so maybe that was just a little play on words, but there is some truth behind it. None of our bodies are the same. Our heads, our necks, our spines; they are all just as unique as we are. And thus, the same for the needs of our body. I remember when my husband and I were first married and were shopping for a new bed. We had no idea what we were going to do because I liked a firm bed while he liked something soft that he sunk into. We figured it was going to be difficult to find something that would meet both of those needs that were so far on either ends of the spectrum. But that is when we found memory foam. It gives me the firm and supported feeling that I desire, but it gives my husband the sensation of the bed hugging and conforming to his body. And then we realized that maybe it wasn’t important to just have a bed that did that, maybe pillows would be the same way.
Oh how right we were!
From the time I was a teenager on, I suffered from upper back and neck pain. Shortly after I graduated from college I began working at a chiropractor’s office which is where I first learned about contoured pillows such as this one. My chiropractor would explain to me that when you look at the curves of your back and neck when you are laying down, it makes sense that your pillow should be shaped in a similar way. That’s why it also makes sense that this memory foam neck pillow design was the choice of a chiropractor to give the proper comfort and support to provide you a good night’s sleep. With one side a little larger than the other, it can easily fit most body and neck sizes.
What makes this pillow better than others?
There are a lot of pillows out there to choose from, so what sets this one apart? Here is a list of some of the most important aspects of this particular pillow:
- The high grade memory foam is extra breathable (perfect for hot nights) and is made in the USA and is made from a special density foam and orthopedic design.
- The foam used is not made with any mercury, lead, other heavy metals or formaldehyde; so are non toxic!
- The pillow comes with a removable and machine washable cover – doesn’t get much easier than that!
- Great for those who suffer from asthma or allergies as the pillow and cover are hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant.
- The design allows for great support for both side and back sleepers and will conform to your body like a great big hug!
What do you have to lose?
Looking back over the years, I wish that I had made the change to a contoured, memory foam pillow sooner. I miss it when I am traveling and can’t wait to get back home. Who misses their pillow when they are gone? You will once you have one because you will realize just what you have been missing without it. Don’t wait, your good night’s sleep is calling you!
